Fire Recovery Positions

We are hiring three members to serve on a crew responsible solely for recovery of trails in the Chetco Bar Fire footprint. The positions run April 1 – October 31 with the possibility of extension with funding. Pay is $16 – $18 an hour.

Wilderness Conservation Corps Interns

Work on trialing projects deep in Southwest Oregon’s and Northwest California’s most remote and commanding Wilderness. Develop your resume and gain skills. Position runs from June 21 – August 29. Work 10 days on, four days off with an enrichment period in July.

Apprenticeship opportunities

Work side by side with field professionals in the Klamath National Forest’s Happy Camp Ranger District. Earn a $1,000 monthly stipend and develop the skills, and the relationships, it takes to land a job in this dynamic field. Spend a summer in service for your country and build the foundations of a career in resource management and public lands. Positions include River Ranger, Wilderness and Trails Ranger, and Information Outreach.
